Local startup opportunity

PopSeal, LLC. (www.popseal.com) is looking for business student help with a study into a specific area of technology licensing.

PopSeal has invented a 100% aluminum top for beverage cans that is self closing, self sealing, and eliminates the tab. This provides a savings in aluminum and achieves the "holy grail" of reseal-ability. PopSeal has now developed demonstration cans and is beginning to talk with can makers and beverage companies. Industry interest is high.

We are developing a strategy or basis for negotiating licensing and/or technology sales. We have contacts at several levels within the industry including ALCOA, Ball Corporation, Pepsi and Miller/Coors.

We would like student help to study the economics of the major beverage companies…including advertising budgets and the value of market share points. This will give PopSeal a third party study to use as a basis for our negotiations.

Minorities and ladies in our country are thought of to be "disadvantaged" populations, and in and of itself, the govt and freelance organizations typically provide them preference in funding opportunities.
